Whether you're packing for your long awaited overseas adventure, business trip or weekend away, we’ve put together a few helpful travel tips we know you will love. Smart travellers are organised and it all begins with your suitcase.

  1. Invest in Light Luggage

Thinking about purchasing that shiny new suitcase for your next big European adventure? The decision to purchase hard case or soft case luggage really comes down to personal preference but we do recommended light luggage with wheels. This is important not only for airline weight restrictions but for your own personal endurance. Travelling lightweight is highly recommended in situations where you find yourself transiting through multiple airports or travelling by train throughout Europe. There is a lot of lifting involved getting in and out of trains and of course handling luggage at airports. Smart travellers travel light.

  1. Packing Clothes

Should I roll or fold my clothes? We recommend both techniques. Rolling your casual items such as knits, denim & synthetic fabrics not only saves room in your luggage but also unpack well. Formal items are best folded using plastic bags (i.e. dry cleaning bags) or tissue paper in-between layers.

  1. Ziplock Bags

One of my favorite travelling items is the Ziplock plastic bag! I personally consider the bags an essential travel accessory and a great way to store items in both your carry-on bag and checked-in luggage. I try to travel light where possible and the bags are handy for keeping things organised and compact – items such as phone chargers, adapters, power cords, cables, toiletries, liquids, cosmetics, Jewellery and travel documentation. The Ziplock plastic bags are a sure way to keep your items dry and organised.

Happy Packing!
