There are many things to love about Salzburg and one of my favourites is the Mozart Ball (Mozartkugel), named after Mozart. Made from marzipan, nougat and chocolate, the Mozart Ball is a delicious sweet created by local confectioner Paul Fürst in 1890. Unique to Salzburg, the Mozart Ball is a must try for lovers of sweet things.
